Privacy Notice
This notice explains which personal data is processed when you use Pocket Plot.

2. Hosting and server logs
Pocket Plot is hosted by Vercel. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection and server data may be processed, such as the IP address, time, and requested resource. This supports secure and reliable operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. See the Vercel privacy notice.
3. Sharing with Cloudflare
Cloudflare is used for the public sharing feature. When you create a share link, the public story or inspiration state intended for sharing is stored and made available through that link. Under the app's existing logic, private local content such as notes, the private project title, and custom character names is not part of this public state. Technically necessary connection data may be processed. Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to the requested function and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to secure operation. See the Cloudflare privacy notice.
4. Storage in your browser
Pocket Plot stores projects, drawn content, project titles, notes, and settings locally in IndexedDB. Language and colour scheme are stored in localStorage; a legacy project may be migrated from it once. These data remain on your device and are not automatically transmitted. You can delete them in the application or your browser's site-data settings.
5. Cookies, fonts, and external content
Pocket Plot currently sets no cookies and uses no optional analytics, marketing, or tracking services. Fonts and website resources are delivered with the application; no external font provider, social embed, or similar third-party content is loaded. A consent banner is therefore not currently required.
6. No accounts or additional services
There are currently no user accounts, newsletter, contact form, payments, or audience analytics. Email uses your own email application; submitted information is processed to respond to your request.
7. Retention
Local data remain until you delete them. Server logs and public share records are retained for the technically and operationally necessary periods. This notice will be updated once binding deletion periods for share records are defined.
8. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. You may withdraw consent prospectively at any time. Contact info@pocketplot.de to exercise your rights.
9. Right to complain
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly at your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
